MILLBURY, Mass. - Rain, rain and more rain, with some football in between. The Rams travelled to Millbury to battle the undefeated Woolies for their homecoming weekend game. Rams fans turned out in strength to support the team despite the blinding rains. The Rams took the field with confident energy. Both teams battled for the ball, leaving no score at the end of the first quarter. Millbury’s Sergio Hernandez was first to put points on the board in the second quarter, with a successful PAT by Abdul Banguro. Hernandez would add another six to the board for Millbury, bringing the score to 13 Millbury, Northbridge 0 at halftime. The third quarter would bring another two touchdown runs by Hernandez and one by Aiden Phillips, with successful PAT kicks by Banguro on both. Northbridge went scoreless, brining them to 2-2, and Millbury to 4-0. Northbridge will go on to face North Middlesex (4-0), Mid-Wach Division 5, at N. Middlesex.
