GRAFTON Mass. - The Rams traveled to Grafton to take on Blackstone Valley Tech in what some Northbridge players had described as the rival game of the season. BVT was coming off a win in week five after upsetting the previously undefeated Millbury Woolies. The Rams were coming into this game looking for a win that would break their two game losing streak since their last win in week three versus Leicester. The first quarter battle for the ball would go scoreless. BVT scored first in the second quarter with a nine-yard from QB Alex Burgos and a successful PAT. BVT went on to score again with a pass from Burgos to Nick Whitlock, followed with a PAT from Dale Boudreau. The Rams would get on the board with a nine yard run by QB Joel LaChapelle, followed with PAT by Jayden Wilson, bringing the score to 14 - 7 at the half. QB LaChapelle would be out with an injury concluding the first half, with Zac Tevepaugh to cover the QB duties for the remainder. The Rams would not score in the second half. BVT scored in the third quarter with a 38 yard run by Adam Franzen. BVT scored two more CDs in the fourth quarter, leaving the final score BVT 35, Northbridge 7. Northbridge at (2-4) for week six. Next week the Rams travel to Auburn for a Friday Night Lights game versus the (3-2-1) Rockets.
